New Innovations in IBD: Modulla Health Virtual IBD Nutrition Clinic
Spending time in the GI’s office is often an adventure. And getting the best nutritional advice is not always easy given the time restrictions of a doctor’s visit. But what if you could have around-the-clock access to nutritional guidance as it pertains to IBD? What if there were a virtual IBD clinic? Dr. Ali Arjomand is making it happen. As a geneticist and nutritionist, Dr. Arjomand is also a Crohn’s patient who used nutrition to reverse his IBD. He has since founded Modulla Health, which focuses on integrated IBD care. It is a digital platform offering around-the-clock care and includes health coaching, nutritional and dietary interventions, and gastro-psychological counseling. Sounds like a potentially great way to manage the nutritional issues of living with IBD, and far more innovative than most of what we have seen so far.
Would you use a virtual IBD clinic if you could?

Just got an update on the progress of this integrated IBD care. Dr. Ali Arjomand reports that:
"Allay Health is moving forward steadily with its patient support app. We are at the pilot rollout phase. The app is used as a central tool with IBD patients. We also hold live workshops in small-group settings (online) where we tackle different topics important to IBD patients."
