Fish Oil for Crohn's?

Another tip I've read about to help reduce inflammation in Crohn's is fish oil because of the Omega-3 oils. Research also suggests that it could help keep you in remission once you are there. Any thoughts or takes on this?

I take omega-3 fish oil capsules daily but not really sure what (if any) contribution it's making as my CD has been flaring a bit.

Yeah, my son took it for awhile and he said it made him gassy. Hard to say if it was actually the fish oil, but that's why I'm reaching out. I'm always curious to hear personal stories because I believe they are as important as the "science" of research in finding out the truth.
